National Indigenous Scholarship Program

Western University

Awarded annually to 5 Indigenous undergraduate students (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) studying full-time at Western's main campus based on their outstanding academic excellence and meaningful and impactful contribution toward Indigenous communities. Three scholarships will be awarded to students applying from Canadian high schools, and 2 scholarships to Indigenous students applying from a postsecondary institution. Recipients must meet the minimum academic averages for their programs, and will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, creative and innovative thinking, and previous or intended contributions to Indigenous communities (including, on and off reserve and as well as urban settings).
