Award for Aboriginal Students

This award is granted to students of Aboriginal ancestry, with 1 award recipient selected from each of the Provincial Territorial Organizations in Ontario (currently, Nishnabwe-Aski Nation, Ontario Federation of Indian Friendship Centres, Anishinabek Nation, Union of Ontario Indians, Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians, Grand Council Treaty No. 3, M├ętis Nation of Ontario).

You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident (landed immigrant) or protected person and a resident of Ontario who demonstrates financial need. You must also present a minimum admission average of 70%.

Recipients of the award will be required to take part in a mentorship program.

To renew this award, you must register in a minimum of 18 credits per academic year and maintain a sessional grade point average of 6.0 ("B").
