Geographical Information Systems is a collaborative program with Fleming College. It is available to students in the Honours BSc or BA program at Trent University in Geography or in Environmental & Resource Science.

Students admitted to the program register as full-time Fleming College students during the third year of their Honours program at Trent.

Turn your health-related diploma into a degree. Develop business acumen and gain the skills needed to navigate the complex and dynamic world of health care. You’ll explore topics such as program planning and evaluation, communication, strategy, human resources and financial management. Practicum seminars and a research project will help you put theory into practice.

After graduation: Manager in hospitals or other health organizations; pursue a master of public health, master of health administration, master of business administration and/or the Certified Health Executive (CHE™) designation from the Canadian College of Health Leaders.

Saint Paul University, through its faculties of Human Sciences, Theology, Philosophy, and Canon Law, offers a PhD in Interdisciplinary Research on Contemporary Social Issues. This degree is conferred jointly by the Senates of Saint Paul University and the University of Ottawa under the terms of the federation agreement between them. The interdisciplinary research doctorate provides a space for reflection to increase understanding of contemporary social issues taking account of the insights of the graduate disciplines of the 4 participating faculties. The program prepares leaders intending to assume responsibility for addressing contemporary social issues.

A minimum of 1 year of university studies or the equivalent is required.

To apply to the trilingual iBA option, you need to have a strong proficiency in French; students are not required to have any background in the third language.

Lakehead University offers a 3-year Juris Doctor program at its Thunder Bay Campus.

Queen's Faculty of Law is renowned for its special combination of academic excellence and community engagement, placing it in the top tier of Canadian law schools.

Admission requirements: 3 years of undergraduate studies, minimum GPA and Law School Admission Test.

Civil law comprises the basic rules of human activity that are, in part, legislated in a civil code. Civil law is in force in Quebec and much of the non-English-speaking world. Upon completing the degree, you are admissible to Quebec’s École du Barreau or uOttawa’s notarial law master’s program (in French).

Three-year program leading to a bachelor of law JD (Juris Doctor) degree. Three years of undergraduate study are required; however, almost all admitted students have completed a 4-year undergraduate degree. There are no required academic prerequisite courses. LSAT is required.

Most successful applicants present an "A-" or higher on their best 3, full-time undergraduate years of study.

The Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa offers you an unparalleled learning environment. Common Law is one of the largest law schools in Canada and receives the largest number of applications from prospective students each year.

Offered by Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, the Juris Doctor (JD) is a 3-year degree involving 6 terms (fall and winter) of full-time study. While most students attend Osgoode full-time for their 3 years of study, some students may choose to spend a term or year studying abroad, and students in the joint and combined programs will spend a portion of their time at another faculty or institution to graduate with dual degrees after 4 years.

The program leading to the degree of Juris Doctor (J.D.) requires admission as a full-time student for 3 years or as a half-time student for 6 years. Our admissions program is different from others. At Windsor Law, we review all applications for admission through a holistic lens. Candidates have the opportunity to provide the Admission Committee with a range of information that supports their application for entry.

Jointly offered by the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and The Michener Institute of Education at UHN, U of T offers a 3-year (8 consecutive semesters) program leading to a BSc and Advanced Diploma. Applicants may choose Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging Technology, Radiation Therapy or Radiological Technology. One year of undergraduate study (5.0 full-course equivalents) is required. Academic prerequisites include a cumulative GPA of at least 2.7, including 1 half-credit course in Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Social Science.

4-year honours degree, competitive GPA and MCAT scores.

Physician Assistant (PA) Education Program:
The PA Education Program is a 2-year course of study delivered over a 24-month period beginning in September. Year 1 consists of clinical science courses delivered in the first 12 months. Year 2 consists of clinical training delivered in the next consecutive 12-month period.

Applicants must have completed a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate work.

MD Program:
Flagship program with an international reputation for its unique 3-year program based on small-group, problem-based study and early introduction to the clinical experience. Applicants must have completed a minimum of 3 years of undergraduate work.

As a Queen's Medicine graduate, you will have a foundation in medicine that will prepare you for success in qualifying examinations and post-graduate training programs, and for fulfilling careers serving your patients and your communities.

Admission requirements: 3 years of undergraduate study with minimum GPA, Medical College Admission Test, autobiographical sketch and interview.

The University of Ottawa is the only medical school in North America that offers the MD Program in both official languages, English and French. Students select their language of study during the application process. On average, 164 students are enrolled each new academic year, comprised of roughly 116 in the Anglophone stream and 48 in the Francophone stream.

The application process and admissions process are the same for all categories of applicants.

Admission requirements: Prior to June preceding registration, applicants must have completed a minimum of 3 years of full-time undergraduate studies at a recognized university in a program leading to a bachelor's degree, including the following prerequisites: 2 courses in humanities/social sciences, 2 courses in biology or zoology, and 4 courses in general chemistry, organic chemistry and biochemistry.

U of T offers a 4-year program leading to an MD degree. Three years of undergraduate study at a Canadian university are required. Academic prerequisites include 2 full-course equivalents in life sciences and 1 full-course equivalent in humanities, social sciences or languages. MCAT is required.

Our MD Program offers various learning and teaching alternatives in a multitude of settings, including classrooms, clinics and the University of Ottawa’s Skills and Simulation Centre. We are affiliated with world-class medical and research teaching facilities, along with numerous community hospitals and clinics.

At the Faculty of Medicine, students are exposed to rich experiences which enhance their learning and increase their knowledge in medical education. Direct contact with patients begins in the first year and increases as students progress through the 4-year program. Patient contact is further gained in hospital, community, rural and international settings starting in the third year, when clerkship begins. Students learn during clinical rotations in each of the major departments: Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, Radiology, Family Medicine, and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

Rounding out the clerkship component of the program are the electives and mandatory selectives that allow students to pursue clinical studies in their specific areas of interest.

The Music Performance Diploma is a 3-year program designed for students who are also concurrently enrolled in a non-music degree. The program is flexible and permits students to focus exclusively on music study. It offers weekly 1-hour lessons.

Although diploma holders represent performers of high artistic achievement, graduate schools generally require an academic degree as well. New applicants to the Music Performance Diploma program who are new to Western University should email the Recruitment Officer, Sasha Gorbasew before applying.

Music Therapy develops a client's potential abilities and enhances their quality of life by using music to address physical, emotional, intellectual or learning challenges.

As a student, participate in a variety of group and individual music therapy placements in our on-site clinics and throughout the community with a diverse set of clients, including those with learning disabilities, autism, special needs, adolescents and geriatrics.

You can apply to the Bachelor of Music Therapy at the end of your second year in Laurier’s Bachelor of Music or Bachelor of Music in Community Music.
