Pursuing a career as a doctor, physical therapist, physician assistant, or other health-care professional is a big goal. U of T Scarborough’s Health Sciences stream is designed to prepare you for career success and provide a competitive advantage.
Alongside your Bachelor of Science degree, you will earn a unique certificate that will expand your knowledge and cultivate skills like leadership, communication, equity, and critical thinking—areas that are essential in health care.
You’ll also get hands-on experience through paid co-op terms with some of the top hospitals, companies, and research institutes in the region, such as SickKids, CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health), University Health Network (UHN), and Scarborough Health Network.
