If a program says that the "Grade Range" is 82%, and I have 80%, can I still apply?

Program Information and Requirements

Yes. The “Grade Range” on OUInfo is not a cut-off point, but a general guideline. Grade ranges are based on the previous year’s admission. The range varies each year according to the number and quality of applicants. For example, if fewer students apply to a given program this year, the grade range will likely decrease, and vice-versa, if more students apply.

Also, many universities consider supplemental information such as essays, portfolios, interviews and personal information forms, in addition to your academic average, in their admission decisions.

Contact the universities directly for more information about admission requirements.
