Room Types

A brand new residence is available at our growing GTA campus. The building features traditional single and semi-private double rooms. The residence is overseen by Trent University Housing Services and accommodates first-year, upper-year and graduate students.

Residence is an integral part of the university experience and our team is here to support you with every step of your journey. A professional Residence Life Coordinator and student Dons reside in residence with you and offer you support in engaging in student life activities and initiatives.

Residence Guarantee

Your space in residence is guaranteed if you apply by the deadline. We assign self-selected rooms based on the date you pay your $50 residence application fee.

Residence applications will be available online January 24, 2024. We will confirm your place in residence once we receive your application and related residence fees.

Our new residence and academic building enhances the outstanding student experience that Trent Durham GTA is known for, providing new spaces and greater opportunities for the whole community to socialize, learn, study and engage in life on campus. Brand new student residences, new classrooms, an outdoor courtyard and group study spaces – you will be part of the first class of students to have access to it all!

Students enrolled in January-start programs may apply to residence and are approved based on room availability.
