Language Requirements
If you were enrolled in the Ontario high school system for 4 consecutive academic years or more, immediately prior to your intended start date, ENG4U or EAE4U with a minimum grade of 70% will be accepted to fulfill the English admission requirement.
If you completed less than 4 consecutive academic years in the Ontario high school system, you must provide English-language proficiency test results in addition to ENG4U or EAA4U.

| Minimum TOEFL Score | Total score of 84 with at least 20 in reading, at least 19 in listening, at least 22 in speaking and at least 20 in writing. |
| Minimum IELTS Score | 6.5 overall with no part below 6.0 (academic version). |
| Minimum CAEL Score | 70 overall with no part below 60. |
| PTE (Pearson Test of English) | 58 overall with at least 56 in listening, at least 56 in reading, at least 56 in speaking and at least 56 in writing. |
| Other Test Scores | Certificate of Proficiency in English (COPE) + Test of Oral Proficiency (TOP): 86 overall with at least 32 in writing, at least 22 in reading and at least 22 in listening. Minimum of 6 in TOP. Duolingo English Test (DET): Minimum overall score of 110 with at least 105 in Production. |

2024-Aug-01 - Test results must be received by OCAD University's document deadline. Failure to do so may result in withdrawal of offer.
